Take Course Reserve items home for the holidays. Starting at 9:00 am on Friday December 21, FI students may borrow items to take home over the break. Items will be due back on January 7, at 12pm. First come, first served.
The Inforum maintains a Course Reserves collection to serve the needs of Faculty of Information students. Items in this collection appear on Faculty of Information course reading lists, and are available for either 2 hour loan or 2 day loan.
Course Reserves are located in our 4th floor open stacks area – look for the first row of shelves. The books are identifiable by coloured tape on the spines.
- Red tape = 2 hour loans
- Green tape = 2 day loans
Check out the books at our Information Desk, even if you plan to use them only in the Inforum. Return them to the same desk for our staff to discharge. Fines on Course Reserve items are 50 cents AN HOUR, so be sure to return them on time.
How to look up what's on Course Reserves
Use this course reserves look-up tool to see what's on reserve. Search by course code (e.g., MSL2331, the quickest way) , by instructor name, or by course title.
For information about course reserves throughout the UTL system, check out this resource. Note that if an instructor does not use our Reading List Service or UTL's syllabus service to put items on reserve either in the Inforum or some other UTL library, the item(s) will not be listed.
