Spaces

Recent renovations (2016) built upon innovations inherent in the 1997 creation of the Inforum, which was one of the first Information Commons model-type libraries on campus.  We now have even brighter airy spaces for studying alone, or collaborating with colleagues in study rooms or open air study pods, as well as new spaces for events and exhibitions.

A fresh, bright chartreuse palette, a seed library, a living wall, iRelax, our mindfulness resource area – these are just some of the features that make the Inforum is a sought-after destination for work, rest, and play. We offer 24X7 fob access for iSchool students to most areas.

At a closing party, students and faculty were invited to write and draw on our pre-demolition walls.
